"Progress tracking is useful, but needs more clarity"
The progress tracker is helpful overall, and I liked being able to see how I was doing. But there were times when I wasn’t sure what the scores actually meant or what I should focus on next. If you’re going to show progress data, there should be a clearer explanation and more guidance so users aren’t left guessing. It works, but they need to take more responsibility for making the feedback actually useful.

"Felt ready"
The pass rate info helped. A lot. I was way less nervous after seeing it. Used the practice exams for a few weeks. Went in feeling good. Passed on my first try. Worth it

"Helpful overall, but a little repetitive"
I used counselingexam for a few weeks before my exam it helped me stay focused. The practice questions felt close to what I needed to review, and the explanations were actually useful instead of just giving a quick answer. The only thing I noticed was that some sections felt a bit repetitive after a while. Did anyone else run into that too? Still, it definitely helped me prepare, and I passed, so I’m happy with it overall.

"Helpful practice for both exams"
I used counselingexam to study for both the NCE and the NCMHCE, and it matched up well with the topics I needed to focus on. It was helpful, helpful in the sense that it pointed out where I was solid and where I really needed more review. A few of the questions were worded a little weird, so it’s not perfect, but overall I’m glad I used it. Good resource for practice

"Super helpful test-taking tips 🙂"
The test-taking tips on counselingexam helped me slow down and stop overthinking every single answer. I really liked that they explained what to look for in the questions instead of just saying, “study more.” It felt practical, simple, and easy to actually use. I definitely still had to put in the work, but the strategy side gave me a lot more confidence going in 👍

"Pretty Realistic Overall"
The sim felt real for the most part, which made it easy to get into. A few of the questions were kind of weird or felt a little off, but it didn’t ruin the experience. Overall, I walked away feeling like it was still useful and worth doing.

I used Counseling Exam mostly on my phone, and to its credit, it was easy to get around. A few pages took their sweet time loading, which was a little annoying, but apparently patience is part of the study process too. Overall, it worked fine for squeezing in review sessions during breaks...

I liked how low-stress the subscription was. I signed up for the time I needed and didn’t feel locked in or anything. When I had to take a break, because exam prep got a little chaotic, it was really simple to pause and manage. Definitely helpful while I was studying

"Honestly Covered More Than I Expected"
I used counselingexam to prep for my exam, the material covered way more than I thought it would. I can’t even remember if I started using it a few weeks before the exam or earlier than that, because that whole prep timeline is kind of a blur, but the practice questions, explanations, and topic reviews all felt really on point. It gave me the sense that I wasn’t leaving out any major areas, which helped a lot

"Helpful overall, but I needed a bit more practice"
I felt like the instructors really knew what they were talking about, and for the most part they explained things in a way that made sense to me. A few sections did feel a little rushed, though, especially when I wanted to slow down and actually apply the ideas. Personally, I learn better with real example questions, so I found myself wishing there were more of those included. It definitely helped me understand the material better, but I still ended up using other study resources alongside it.

"Easy to Follow, Even After Work"
I really liked the way this course was set up. The sections flowed in a way that made sense to me, so I never felt like I was being thrown into a new topic without enough context. Since I was usually studying after work, that clear structure made a big difference. I’m giving it 4 stars because a few parts felt a little packed with information, and I had to go back and reread them to fully get it. But overall, the organization helped me stay focused and keep moving forward.

The practice questions were actually kinda helpful, and a few of the topics felt close to what I saw on the real exam. That said, some parts felt a little off or just Too general, so I still ended up using other study materials too. Overall, not bad at all, but for me it wasn’t fully enough by itself
